Henderson Judd
219 Forest Ave.
Unknown
1882

The Judd house displays the rectangular massing, hipped roof, brackets underneath the eaves and tall slender windows characteristic of the Italiante style.  The front porch with classical columns is a later addition, and shows the rebirth of interest in classical architecture that resulted from the 1893 Columbian Exposition in Chicago, which continued to influence architectural styles for the next 50 years.
