Original Owner:    Edmund Brigham
Address: 790 Sheridan Road, Glencoe
Year Built: 1915

Although the house appears to have been built in 1915, the design of it was likely done much earlier, perhaps 1908.  Preliminary plans for the project were prepared in Wright's Oak Park Studio, which he left after 1909.

The plan was a variation of the "Fireproof House for $5,000".  This is the only one of the many houses that Wright designed from this plan which was actually constructed with concrete, as specified in Wright's Fireproof house plan.  The veranda to the south was later enclosed.
