This house is situated at the edge of a deep ravine; Wright designed the house to take advantage of the unusual site.  The original plan included a bridge over the ravine to a tea room, but this portion was never built.

Semi-detached octagonal spaces include a den/library to the east of the house, nearest to Sheridan Road, and a sewing room off a corner of the master bedroom.
