The tall wall built around this house in the 80s and the dense landscaping make it very difficult to photograph this house.

Hoyt was a pharmacist; he introduced A. W. Gridley to Wright, who later commissioned a house of his own.  The muntin patterns of the windows (not visible in the above picture) spell out the letter "H".
