| Original Owner: | Francis Little |
| Address: | 1505 W. Moss Ave, Peoria |
| Year Built: | 1902 |
Wright's first home for Francis Little was a brick home with a separate large stable. The veranda has later been enclosed. Note the arch over the front entrance; this is similar to the treament of the entrance in the Heurtley, Thomas and Dana houses all from this same general time period. The stable/coach house appears to have been considerably expanded from Wright's original design.
Mr. Little only lived in the house for about a year; financial difficulties then forced him to sell it. About 10 years later, after Little was more financially secure, he comissioned Wright to design a second home in Deephaven, Minnesota. That house has been demolished, but selected rooms from it were preserved and have been installed in museums in New York city and Allentown, PA.
