Original Owner:    Francis Little
Address: 1505 W. Moss Ave, Peoria
Year Built: 1902

Wright's first home for Francis Little was a brick home with a separate large stable.  The veranda has later been enclosed.  Note the arch over the front entrance; this is similar to the treament of the entrance in the Heurtley, Thomas and Dana houses – all from this same general time period.  The stable/coach house appears to have been considerably expanded from Wright's original design.

Mr. Little only lived in the house for about a year; financial difficulties then forced him to sell it.  About 10 years later, after Little was more financially secure, he comissioned Wright to design a second home in Deephaven, Minnesota.  That house has been demolished, but selected rooms from it were preserved and have been installed in museums in New York city and Allentown, PA.
