There is a dispute over whether the name of this house should be Nichols or Nicholas.  Wright sometimes misspelled the names of his clients, making certain identification difficult.

The plan of the house was based upon the Ladies Home Journal Fireproof House for $5,000, but later additions and alterations disguise the original appearance.
