This colonial revival house is a good example of the style.  Classical European architectural elements abound: from the front porch with its classical column and pedimented roof, to the pillasters at either end of the house, to the classical dormers and dentil mouldings underneath the eaves.

Roberts was an architect who would build houses in whatever style his client desired.  This, no doubt, was one of the reasons he built so many houses in Oak Park.

This house has recently been repainted on the exterior, restoring it to the grandeur it must have had when originally built.
