It appears that Frank Lloyd Wright prepared some designs for this remodeling which were not used. Mrs Herron was likely familiar with Mr Wright's work since she was a sister of Nathan Moore, who lived in the Wright designed house at 333 Forest.

The house as built in the 1880s was a
Queen Anne home very similar to the Rudolph Johns
home right next door. In 1924 the current owner, Mrs. Mary Herron,
commissioned Tallmadge and Watson to remodel her home; all traces of the
original structure were subsumed in their design, giving it the appearance of a
