One of the later residents of this house
is responsible for two products that probably almost everyone is familiar with.
According to Donald Duncan Jr, his father Donald Duncan Sr lived in this
house from 1931 to 1944. He was the founder of the Duncan yo-yo company,
which he began around 1930. Later Mr. Duncan came up with the Good Humor
"ice cream on a stick" concept. There is also an oh-so-tenuous connection between this house and Wright's William Martin house. Martin's granddaughter, Donna Mann, married Donald Duncan Jr. |
