Since the original house is by Patton and Fisher, one would expect a Queen Anne house similar to their other works nearby on Kenilworth, also built right around the same time. But it's hard to imagine something like the Rankin, Kennedy or Douglass houses being transformed into this, perhaps the original house was more similar to the P.E. Wilson house. In any case, it appears that Talmadge and Watson's remodeling eliminated all outward traces of the original structure. |
