Frank Lloyd Wright's Meyer May was built in 1908 in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Meyer May was a local clothing store owner; he built this house for his wife and two adopted children. In 1987 the house was completely restored by Steelcase — this included removing a later addition at the rear of the house. The house is open to the public for tours.
