The house as originally constructed was a cluster of pavilions grouped together in a sort of V-shape.  As this was a summer house, the pavillions were each free standing, one travelled a short distance outside to go from one to another.  The house has since been extensively altered and added to so that now only the exterior massing reveals Wright's intentions.
