The plan of the Schultz house is basically in-line, except for a short perpendicular wing containing the master bedroom and bath (to the right in the picture above.  The living room terrace of the house cantilevers out over a ravine off the St. Joseph river.  The long wing contains 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, a laundry room, and terminates in a large game room.

The utilities room is underneath the workspace, but there is also a large basement family room underneath the living room, unusual for Wright. The house is built of brick, with mahogany trim.
