Original Owner: Edward E. Boynton
Address: 16 East Blvd, Rochester
Year Built 1908

E. E. Boynton was partner with Warren McArthur in the Ham Lantern Co and thus was acquainted with Wright.  When he decided to relocate to Rochester, New York, he hired Wright to design his new house.

Wright won agreement from Boynton to not only design the house but also design the furnishings as well.  Originally there was an open veranda at the front of the house; this was later enclosed and the same art glass added to it.  The dining room is very large and includes clerestory windows and overhead light panels.
